The Tetris 99 17th MAXIMUS CUP event had been announced. With the release of the Crown Tundra expansion the event will be a crossover of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
The event runs from 12:00am ET on October 16th to 11:59pm ET on October 19th.
To participate, you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member and play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period. You’ll earn event points based on your placement in each match. Once you’ve accumulated a total of 50 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
