Nintendo has announced the next Tetris 99 Maximus Cup event. Unsurprisingly the next crossover with the always fun Tetris battle royale game will be with Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
The Tetris 99 13th MAXIMUS CUP, starts on Friday, May 15th at 12:00am PT to May 18th at 11:59pm ET. Earn at least 100 event points in Tetris 99 mode to get an in-game theme.
Imagine playing frantic Tetris gameplay with the relaxing music from Animal Crossing. The special themes join previous Maximus Cup themes such as Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Splatoon 2, and Super Kirby Clash.
Tetris 99 is free-to-play with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
