With everyone hoping that we would get an HD remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword from the Wii, Nintendo instead took a left turn and surprised with a remake of the classic game The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
Originally released for the Game Boy more than 25 years ago, one of the most beloved games in The Legend of Zelda series returns. In this modern re-imagining, players travel to the mysterious island of Koholint to guide Link on a perilous adventure.
I have fond memories of playing this game on my Game Boy Colour so many years ago that it will be fun to revisit the game. And it will undoubtedly be brand new for a lot of people.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening arrives exclusively on Nintendo Switch in 2019.
