With Mewtwo leaving raid battles today we were waiting to find out what would replace the legendary Pokémon. Today Niantic announced The replacement for level 5 raids.
The Ghost and Dragon type Legendary Pokémon, Giratina, has now arrived in Raid Battles for the first time. The Pokémon will leave Raid battles on November 20th.
Also ghost Pokémon are more common in the Pokémon GO Halloween event, and catching Pokémon will yield double catch candy. Ghost-type and Dark-type Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region, such as Drifloon and Stunky, are now available. These bonuses are available until November 1st at 4pm ET.
There is also a new series of limited time special research tasks.
Finally the special Halloween Pikachu will also be returning to Pokémon GO for a limited time.
