After ditching the failed Pokémon Club Newsletter distribution method from earlier in the year, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company seem to be making amends in September. Latias and Latios are the legendary giveaways in September and will see code cards distributed by Best Buy for the first time. Cards will be given out between September 2nd thru September 29th.
Many people, myself included, missed out on legendaries from March, April, and also July, missing out on getting Palki and Dialga, Entei or Raikou, or even Tornadus or Thundrus. Despite being signed up for the Pokémon Club newsletter, neither a code nor any newsletter showed up in my email box.
Head to a participating Best Buy store from September 2nd – 29th, where you can get a code that will allow you to obtain Latias and Latios in Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Moon.
For Latias in Pokémon Ultra Sun the legendary Pokémon will be level 100 and have the ability Levitate. It will have the held item Gold Bottle Cap and the moves Mist Ball, Psychic, Draco Meteor, and Tailwind.
In Pokémon Sun it will be level 60, have the abiliby Levitate, and a moveset including Mist Ball, Dragon Pulse, Psycho Shift, and Wish.
Latios in Pokémon Ultra Moon will be level 100, have the ability Levitate, and the held item Gold Bottle Cap. It will have the moves Luster Purge, Psychic, Draco Meteor, and Tailwind.
In Pokémon Moon it will be level 60 and have the ability Levitate. It will have the moveset Luster Purge, Dragon Pulse, Psycho Shift, and Dragon Breath.
