After another month of disappointment, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company seem to be making amends in August. Kyogre and Groudon are the legendary giveaways in August and will again see code cards return to EB Games from August 3rd thru August 26th.
Many people, myself included, missed out on legendaries from March, April , and now also July, missing out on getting Palki and Dialga, Entei or Raikou, or even Tornadus or Thundrus. Despite being signed up for the Pokémon Club newsletter, neither a code nor any newsletter showed up in my email box.
Head to a participating EB Canada store from August 3rd – 26th, where you can get a code that will allow you to obtain Kyogre and Groudon in Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Moon.
For Kyogre in Pokémon Ultra Sun the legendary Pokémon will be level 100 and have the ability Drizzle. It will have the held item Gold Bottle Cap and the moves Origin Pulse, Ice Beam, Water Spout, and Calm Mind.
In Pokémon Sun it will be level 60, have the abiliby Drizzle, and a moveset including Ice Beam, Origin Pulse, Calm Mind, and Muddy Water.
Groudon in Pokémon Ultra Moon will be level 100, have the ability Drought, and the held item Gold Bottle Cap. It will have the moves Precipice Blades, Earth Power, Fire Punch, and Swords Dance.
In Pokémon Moon it will be level 60 and have the ability Drought. It will have the moveset Earthquake, Precipice Blades, Bulk Up, and Solar Beam.
