It’s been two months since the last system update, with the last update in March, but the Nintendo 3DS firmware has been updated again. This is a very minor update which updates the 3DS system from version 10.7.0-32U to version 11.0.0-33U.
There aren’t any big changes in this update, with the only text on the update the very same as last month’s update. The text from Nintendo as follows:
“Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”
The update is required in order to continue using Nintendo Badge Arcade and likely several other online games for the 3DS. Upon trying to load the free-to-start app on my 3DS I was prompted to update my system and could not launch the game.
