The sequel to The Guided Fate Paradox releases today under the name The Awakened Fate Ultimatum. Focusing on letting you make choices as you progress through the story which do decently seem to sway the tale a bit, you’ll be trying to help win an impossible war. For those unfamiliar with the Fate/Disgaea universe, there exists multiple Celestias and Netherworlds. Essentially their version of Heaven and Hell. In the Fate series so far, you’ve ended up being the newcomer god of one of these Celestias taken from Earth. In Awakened Fate, you play Shin, a regular high school student who is attacked by Devils for his unknown compatibility to be usable as a god. Already dead, Celestia takes him in and using an Fate Awakening Crystal he is turned into their god in training.
Progressing in a visual novel style with rogue-like interludes, Shin must decide what is best for Celestia as he tries to help them turn the war against the Devils. Unlike previous versions, this Celestia is basically a spaceship. Upon it the story unfolds between Jupiel, your exclusively assigned angel, and the scientist Devil girl creator of the Fate Awakening Crystal, Ariael.
