As per the trend with movies where the third title in a series gets the 3D treatment (Friday the 13th for example), a DSiWare title from Teyon is making its way to 3D as it is making the jump to the Nintendo 3DS.
Robot Rescue is an original logic game. Your mission is to free robots trapped in a computer labyrinth while avoiding deadly traps. The concept sounds easy but isn’t so simple. Each robot shares linked controls so when you move one robot you will actually be moving them all. It takes careful planning to pull off the escape while avoiding traps and using special elements.
Whereas the first game contained 45 levels and 60 levels, the newest game will contain over 120 levels, with a mixture of levels from previous releases as well as brand new stages. Up to thirty robots can be trapped in one level at a time which adds to the difficulty.
The first two games cost 200 Nintendo Points ($1.99 on the eShop) but there is no word on what the third title will cost.
