Circle Entertainment sent us a new video trailer for their upcoming 3DS eShop project Witch & Hero. The game looks to be a charming adventure set in the glory days of the 8-bit NES.
Witch & Hero is an 8-bit style action game. You play as a hero accompanied by a witch taking on the evil Medusa, whom has destroyed many villages and towns with the monsters that stand before her.
Once the Witch and the Hero challenged Medusa face to face, the evil Medua turned the witch into stone. Now no longer able to move it’s up to the Hero alone to save the day and his companion. The hero must defeat monsters and collect their blood in order to temporarily recover the witch, but only for a short period of time. The witch, while powerful and with devistating magical ability which can easily destroy monsters, but you will have to rely on the hero’s will power primarily. He is able to try and try again, but the witch cannot, thus the hero must protect her.

- Wipe out huge waves of monsters through 20 stages with 2 difficulties
- Choose between Trial mode and infinite mode for an in-depth challenge
The game is set to be relased in Europe on April 4th but no dates has been set for the North American eShop as of yet.
