Namco Bandai Games released another preview for their upcoming game Star Trek: The Video Game on Friday. The video, called Making the Game Part 1, showcases more in game footage of the title as well as details some of the specifics.
The game features co-op gameplay where the gamer can play as either Kirk or Spock, who work together during missions. Kirk is more reckless and plays ‘cowboy’ style while Spoke is a more stealthy character. The players can walk around the Enterprise during the game and also play as the Enterprise in space missions. The game, while a third-person action game, also features a few levels of skydiving and space diving.
Three years ago, shortly after the massive worldwide success of the re-imagined film version of Star Trek, the creators of the upcoming Star Trek: The Video Game began their journey to bring an entirely new adventure to gamers. Brian Miller (Executive Producer of the game) explains more about the creation of Star Trek: The Video Game and the co-op play that gamers will experience in it.
Star Trek will be released from Paramount Pictures and Namco Bandai Games on April 23rd for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
