Okay so this isn’t about the video game or even a movie based on the video game, but is rather something that I stumbled upon on YouTube. It’s pretty funny and very well done. It deserves a look. The video is about Luigi wanting to break out of Mario’s shadow and be his own man. He resents being called the “green Mario.” It’s done by the guys at EMC Monkeys.
The video does a pretty good job at using some of the staple elements from Mario Bros., including invincible stars, green shells, question mark blocks and super mushrooms.
This is the kind of stuff that Nintendo should be showcasing and spotlighting. This sort of stuff is great, especially when it’s clean, not making fun of the game and is humerous.
