In advance of the release of their newest home console, Nintendo has dropped the price of the Nintendo Wii.
The value package, which bundles both Wii Sports and Wii Spots Resort on one disc with the black edition of the console, will retail for $129.99 and should be available in stores by October 28th.
This bundle will replace the current black Wii that comes with New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
“Nearly six years after it launched, people are still attracted to the pure, inclusive fun of the Wii console,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “A new suggested retail price and the inclusion of two great games make it an easy choice for families looking for a great value this holiday season.”
The Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo’s next generation of home consoles will be released in North America on Sunday November 18th.
