Another date and price rumour for Nintendo’s upcoming Wii U console has hit the internet, with the new date seemingly set for November 11th.
According to a story on Gamespot the listing comes from VPD, who are wholesale retail distributors in the United States. The company distributes movies and videogames to retailers such as Amazon, Blockbuster and Overstock.com.
Since the website is only available to customers of the service, only someone with a login can access information regarding the pricing details of products such as the Wii U. A user on YouTube ‘H0undd0gg‘ posted a short video screen capture of such a listing earlier today.
There are three price points available for the Wii U if the information turns out to be accurate, with $250, $300 ad $350 packages available. No other information on what those packages would contain, but it is possible that the pricier versions could come bundled with a launch title.
It is expected that Nintendo will official announce details of the retail launch of the Wii U, including price, peripherals and launch titles, at a press event on September 13th.
We’ll bring you some official word from Nintendo as soon as it’s available.
