The Nintendo Wii U Tour stopped in downtown Hamilton on Saturday afternoon, right in the centre of the city’s Santa Claus parade. Dozens of kids lined up to check out the new console from Nintendo, several of which came back and stood in line for more.
The tour truck had several playable Wii U titles, all of which were of the family friendly variety. The Nintendo rep said that another tour had some of the more mature titles, but this contained all family friendly titles.
Included in the truck was FIFA 13, NintendoLand, Super Mario Bros U and Sing Party.
The Wii U Demo trailer made a stop in Hamilton on its tour around the region. It started in Toronto and made stops in Ottawa and Montreal. After stopping in London, Ontario yesterday it made it’s final stop in Hamiton today. There will be no stop tomorrow as it’s Remembrance Day and the trailer returns to Toronto for the Wii U launch next weekend!
